How ProofPilot Works
One feedback request becomes a full set of publishable proof assets. Here's exactly what happens at each step, from invite to publish.
Invite Your Customer
Create a feedback request tied to a customer record — their name, company, and whatever context you already have. ProofPilot generates a branded, unique link for that request and sends it by email, so every customer gets a link meant only for them.
They Answer Simple Questions
The customer opens a mobile-friendly, branded form and answers a handful of guided questions — no account required. They can optionally upload a photo or company logo, and give explicit consent for how their name, company, and quote may be used.
ProofPilot Creates Your Assets
Once the response is submitted, ProofPilot generates a set of proof assets from it — a short and long testimonial, a homepage quote, a case study draft, a social post, and a proof metric card whenever the customer gave real numbers. You can edit any of it, or route it back to the customer for approval before publishing.
Publish Anywhere
Once approved, proof can be published to your public proof wall, turned into a standalone public case study page, embedded on any website as a widget, or copied straight into a sales deck or social post.
Common Questions
- Do customers need to create an account?
- No. Customers open their unique feedback link, answer a short set of questions, and submit — no sign-up, password, or app required.
- What if a customer doesn't give specific numbers?
- ProofPilot never invents metrics. A proof card is only generated when a customer provides real, specific numbers — otherwise that asset is simply skipped.
- Can I edit generated proof before publishing?
- Yes. Every testimonial, case study, and social post is a draft until you publish it. Edit the wording, swap the layout, or send it back to the customer for approval first.
- Does ProofPilot work without an OpenAI API key?
- Yes. ProofPilot falls back to deterministic template generation when no API key is configured, so proof generation always works, even without an AI provider connected.
